Sweeney's Cruises is a family-run business and has been operating boats on Loch Lomond for over 100 years. We now operate five passenger boats: Astina, Silver Marlin, Lomond Duchess, Lomond Sunrise and Glen Falloch.
The Astina was bought in Antwerp in 2004 and is the largest passenger boat operating on Loch Lomond.
The Silver Marlin sailed from London to Balloch in 1992 and now cruises majestically on the Queen of Scottish Lochs.
The Silver Marlin is the second largest passenger boat operating on Loch Lomond.
The Sweeney family have been operating boats on Loch Lomond since the mid 1880's and began with steam launches and rowing boats.
Over the years the company has expanded to include the five passenger boats we now operate. We are still very much a family business with John and Catherine Sweeney firmly at the helm.
